This reminds me of this comic book I am reading called "Epileptic" in which the
author narrates the story of his family as they tried to help his older brother
who kept having seizures... I remember one of the options was to do this brain
surgery, but I think they didn't do it at the end because they didn't like the
neurosurgeon. Too much into science and very little into the human part of it.
